The main subject of his compositions used to focus on his father’s murder.On December 5, 2011, King Los released the mixtape The Crown Ain’t Safe and it featured guest appearances by artists like Lola Monroe, Jazze Pha, DMX, Kid Ink, Twista, and XV.P. Diddy announced to MTV on February 6, 2012, that King Los had been signed to Bad Boy Records.He released his mixtape Becoming King on April 25, 2013, via Bad Boy Records.
