An Australian mum has showed off her clever, money-saving hack, proving there’s no rules when it comes to finding solutions that work.

The mother-of-two, who has a four-month-old baby, took to popular Facebook group Kmart Mums Australia to reveal she used a $9 Kmart shower caddy to store all her baby bottles in the kitchen.

“Great idea $9 shower caddy to sort my baby feeding station out,” she captioned the image.

Her post has attracted more than 2000 likes and hundreds of comments from fellow mums who labelled her idea as “brilliant”.

“I totally need to do this,” one member of the group wrote.

“This is a brilliant idea,” a second person said, while others said they needed to go to Kmart now to get their hands on the cheap storage solution.

Kyla Esaiah told Yahoo that her kitchen bench area was a “mess”, but the caddy option helps to declutter the space.

“It was all spread out and looked very cluttered – having a baby makes everything messy as there is just stuff everywhere,” the mum told the publication.

While many were impressed by Ms Esaiah’s hack, others suggested it could also be used as a coffee stand and condiments station.

Some mums wished they thought of the idea years ago when their children were still using bottles.

“Omg! Where were you with this idea three years ago,” one woman said.

To help keep it from falling, Ms Esaiah used suction cups. Others suggested using picture hooks as another option.

Proving the popularity of the $9 hack, one woman said she has been “trying to get my hands on one of these for months”.

It’s not the first time a parenting hack has captured the attention of the internet, with a mum’s simple solution to a common baby wipe problem going nuts last year.

Tackling the problem of pulling out a number of wipes clumped together when all you need is just needed the one, the woman felt compelled to share her fix with other frustrated parents.

Using an ALDI baby wipe packet, the mum from the UK said the secret is once you’ve ripped off the sealed tab at the top of the packet to make way for the wipes, you cut a slit on each side to ensure the opening extends all the way.

“My son is 19 months and I’m ONLY just ‘discovering’ that if you fully rip open wipes they’ll come out one by one and not a whole bunch that string out while I’m trying to change a dirty nappy & undo a wipe with my double chin(s),” the mum shared in a private Facebook group.

The mum continued that her handy “hack” might be well known, but she felt she needed to share with others to save them the hassle.

It was then put to the test by the team at Kidspot.com.au who discovered it totally works.
