Ray Milland (born 3 January 1907–10 March 1986 in Alfred Reginald Jones) was from the United States of Welsh. Actor and movie director. His career on screen lasted from 1929 to 1985, with a polished leading man against a dishonest John Wayne in Reap the wild wind (1942), the killing husband in Dial M for Murder, directed by Alfred Hitchcock (1954), and Oliver Barrett III in Love Story, the most well-known of these for the oscar-winning portrayals of an Alcoholic literary artist in The Lost Wochenend (1945).
